"The youth of today
are the leaders of tomorrow."
The goal of the Young Professionals Network is to shape young people of color into civically engaged leaders, to effect substantive social change regionally.
Who are we?
The Young Professionals Network (YPN) is an auxiliary group of the St. Louis County NAACP, with the purpose of providing a pipeline for leadership in the Association and throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Region. The success of the YPN directly effects the future success and effectiveness of the St. Louis County NAACP.
What do we do?
By equipping young professionals with the tools and leadership skills necessary to develop opportunities that will allow them to become civically and politically engaged leaders that work to promote racial inclusion throughout the
St. Louis Metropolitan region and beyond.
How do we do it?
By providing our members with programs, initiatives, and leadership opportunities within the NAACP that increase their awareness of social issues.
By helping to improve the St. Louis Region, we are focused on developing an environment that fosters the ambitions of the NAACP, the members of the YPN, and attracts new business and professionals to St. Louis County.
